Study Abroad In Berlin Kicks Off!

The Film, Art, and Cultural History in Berlin program, led by Dr. Berna Gueneli and Dr. Jan Uelzmann, is a faculty-led three-week, 6 credits summer study abroad program that combines classroom instruction with excursions, place-based learning activities, and media-based project work. The program and its classes are designed to provide students interested in film, visual culture, German history, and German culture overall an opportunity to engage in an enriching and immersive educational experience in one of the world's most vibrant cities.

Here are some photos from the first couple of days where students participated in activities such as walking down the iconic Karl Marx Allee, dinner at the Sommergarten, and settling into their classroom at Humboldt University!
