A collaboration between the University of Georgia, the prestigious Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), and the highly-respected Goethe Institute in Germany offers UGA students an innovative dual degree program joining STEM and humanities education plus work/study abroad. A degree program greater than the sum of its parts.

AB in German + BS in your chosen engineering field

Fourth year spent abroad:

Four weeks of intensive language instruction at the Goethe Institut in Bonn, Germany
Semester of study at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), one of Germany's top-ranked technical universities
Internship with a German engineering company

I studied Spanish my whole life up to college, so the decision to take on the ENGR+GRMN program was kind of an unexpected turn. I always wanted to study abroad, and where better to do that for an engineer than in Germany? I've fallen in love with the German language and culture...Not to mention all the people I've been able to meet from being part of two colleges that wouldn't normally mix!
