Acceptance by the one is ordinarily contingent upon acceptance by the other. The stipend for teaching assistantships is currently $16,138. A limited number of Max Kade Fellowships, awarded on a competitive basis, may be offered to especially well-qualified students. Tuition and Fees Teaching assistants receive a reduced tuition fee of $25, and pay student fees each semester of approximately $1,145.
