Image: When you get a mix of students (and alumni) of all levels of German proficiency around a virtual conversation table, magic can happen. It's a pressure-free way to practice speaking and listening another language, and maybe build your cultural competence, too. If you are a UGA student or alum, we would love to have your join the conversation. While we aren't able to meet in Joe Brown lobby with decadent sweet treats and coffee at our Friday afternoon Kafeestunde, or at The Globe in downtown Athens for pub food at Stammtisch on Monday evenings, it's still fun to get together via Zoom and divide into conversation groups, led by Dr. Katie Chapman from our faculty. Join us!
