Come to an Information Session on Oct 9th at 4pm in Coverdell Auditorium on the German and Engineering dual degree program at UGA.

Find out how you can earn two bachelors degrees in five years (A.B. in German and B.S. in Engineering), and spend your fourth year abroad, including an experiential learning placement with a German engineering company.

Dr. Katie Chapman from UGA's Department of Germanic & Slavic Studies will join Dr. Tom Lawrence, Coordinator of UGA's Mechanical Engineering program, and Lauren Anglin, Director of Experiential Learning & Outreach at the College of Engineering at an info session on Tuesday, October 9th at 4pm in the Coverdell Auditorium at the University of Georgia.

Students study intensive German at The Goethe Institute in Bonn, Germany, for four weeks and complete a semester of engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, one of Germany's top-ranked technical universities. Students further develop language, cultural, and engineering skills with an internship in a German company.

Students in the German + Engineering Dual Degree program distinguish themselves with these academic and experiential learning opportunities, plus have options for scholarships to make the program feasible.

Learn more about the dual degree program and how it can help you to set yourself apart in the job market and to appreciate another culture while learning to navigate in the global economy.
