Thursday, November 8 2018, 3:30pm 267 Miller Learning Center Lecture On November 8, GSS welcomes Dr. Hyoun-A Joo, of the School of Modern Languages at Georgia Tech, for a Germanic linguistics talk centering on a group of heritage German speakers in Kansas, and discussing linguistic and cultural changes of their German heritage. This talk is part of the 2018-19 Faculty Research Seminar Series on Cultural and Linguistic Identity in the Americas: Immigration, Migration, Modernity organized by Drs. Joshua Bousquette, Chad Howe, Frans Weiser, and Jan Zantinga and supported by the Willson Center for Humanities and Arts.
