Instructor (2021- current) Graduate Teaching Assistant (2017-2021) 2017-18 Max Kade Graduate Student Fellow Stephanie is originally from Vienna, Austria. After earning her Master’s degree in German from the University of Georgia in 2019, she completed her Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) in World Language Education in 2021. She is currently a full-time instructor in the department and serves as faculty advisor for Delta Phi Alpha, the National German Honor Society. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Stephanie is actively involved in the Georgia Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of German (AATG), where she serves on the Board as Testing Chair. Her academic interests include Middle High German language and literature, with a particular fascination for Hagen von Tronje, one of the most prominent figures of the period. She is also interested in women’s Holocaust memoirs, especially their use and representation of the German language.
