Keith Langston's research interests include Slavic prosody and the phonology/morphology interface; historical Slavic linguistics and accentology; and sociolinguistics, with a focus on questions of language and identity in the former Yugoslavia. He is author/co-author of three books and a number of book chapters and articles in journals such as Balkanistica, Filologija, Hrvatski dijalektološki zbornik, International Politics, Journal of Slavic Linguistics, Language Policy, and Die Welt der Slaven. He teaches courses in Russian, Slavic Studies, and general linguistics.
