Lecture on Berlin in the GDR

Dr. Sarah Colvin, the Schroeder Professor of German at Cambridge, will be coming to Athens to give a talk about Berlin during the GDR. The specific topic will be one of the following: “Fragile legitimacy: Stories from West German prisons in the aftermath of 1945”; “Emancipation? West German prisons after 1968”; “East German stories of the criminal state”; or “Self-help? Stories of prison in the Berlin Republic."
