The Department of Germanic & Slavic Studies is excited to announce the Faculty Research Colloquium, designed to provide faculty with an opportunity to present their current research to colleagues and students. This first colloquium will consist of two presentations, by Dr. Alex Sager and Dr. Joshua Bousquette, on topics in medieval German literature and Heritage German linguistics (see titles below). Each presentation will be followed by a short question and answer period. Faculty and students (graduate and undergraduate) are invited to attend. Please join us!

Dr. Alex Sager:  "Crusade in the Bedroom: Subverting Courtly Love in the Carmina Burana"

Dr. Joshua Bousquette:  "Language Shift and the Dative Case in Heritage German:  A Community Theoretic Approach"
