Intensive Elementary Russian I

In the Russian Flagship curriculum, RUSS 1011 is the first in a two-part intensive introductory course in modern Russian language and culture. This accelerated course covers the fundamentals of Russian grammar, conversation, pronunciation, and reading, with an emphasis on oral proficiency and comprehension. It is part of an academic cohort. Students from all majors may apply.

Participants in the Russian Flagship Program at UGA will be eligible for scholarships and funded study abroad opportunities, including a capstone year abroad.
